Japanese recreational activities take place indoors and outdoors. Plenty of fun is to be had for the young at Tokyo's Disney Resort. The resort consists of Disneyland Park and Disney Sea Park, with several hotels. In summer the tourists watch fireworks, which the Japanese have enjoyed for centuries. Japan is popular for its natural hot springs, located in spectacular natural surroundings. Practically every region of the country has its share of hot springs and resort towns. Some outdoor baths are magnificently situated in the mountains, valleys or along rivers, lakes or sea shores. In Hokkaido the most famous hot spring resort is Noboribetsu Onsen.
